Ashley is a born and raised desert rat. Ever since she was little, she had a love of animals. When she was eighteen, she worked in exotic pet retail. Wanting to continue this path working with animals she attended and graduated from Pima Medical Institute as a veterinary technician. Over the years her love of treating animals has continued to grow.

The most rewarding part of the job she says is sending pets home healthy to their waiting moms and dads. Seeing clients with love and tears in their eyes as they take their fur babies home reaffirms her devotion to this career. She shares her home with a whole bevy of animals, and some of the human sort. Happily married to Dean, they share their home with their friend and roommate Connor, the dogs: Ruby, Achilles, Havoc, and Little Homeless Homie, the cats: Storm, Tiger, Monster, Chaos, and Butters, and some lizards and fish too! Quite the full house!

In her spare time, Ashley loves to go hiking, camping, tend to her garden, and paint. With a green thumb and a love of art, her projects are always beautiful and inspiring.  "We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we chose to act upon." -Sirius Black
